May 3: Ten Childhood Characters You'd Love To Revisit As Adults
I don't remember many of the books I read as a little kid so I'm going to also use some of the books I read as a teen although most of those were adult books so my list may be short.
1. Alice from Alice In Wonderland. 2. All the kids from Peter Pan. 3. The Characters from The Vampire Diaries by L. J. Smith. (The original 4 books not the new ones and not the crappy ghost written ones) 4. The Characters from The Secret Circle by L. J. Smith. 5. The Characters from Sweet Valley High (and no I didn't read the book about them as adults lol)

Why did I choose to spotlight Elijah? Well besides the fact that he's smoking hot lolhe'smy favorite character. He is a thinker and is extremely intelligent, is an honorable noble man, is intense, has a dry sense of humor that I adore, and he's the one who tries to remain as human as he can considering his circumstances.
He is truly a middle child trying to keep the peace between his older and younger siblings. He's also fiercely protective of them and will do anything to keep his family safe from harm so do not mess with this guy or you will find yourself very dead.
Elijah is also a romantic he's searching for that special someone and even though he's come close a few times "the one" still hasn't showed up in his life.
JULIE PLEC skillfully juggles work in
film and television as both a producer and a writer. She is the
co-creator and executive producer of “The Vampire Diaries” and the creator of
“The Vampire Diaries” spin-off, “The Originals,” which tells the story of history’s
first vampire family.
Plec got her start as a television writer on the ABC Family
series “Kyle XY,” which she also produced for its three-year run. She
also collaborated with Greg Berlanti and Phil Klemmer on the CW drama, “The
Tomorrow People,” the story of a small group of people gifted with
extraordinary paranormal abilities.
Her screenplay adaptation “The Tiger’s Curse” is in development
at Paramount, and she will produce the feature “@emma” with Darko
Entertainment. Past feature production credits include “Scream 2” and
“Scream 3,” Greg Berlanti’s “Broken Hearts Club,” Wes Craven’s “Cursed” and
“The Breed.”

1. THE VAMPIRE DIARIES by L.J. Smith. I read these when they first came out in the 90's when I was a teenager and loved them! 2. THE SECRET CIRCLE by L.J. Smith same as above.
4. THE ARTHURIAN SAGA by Mary Stewart. This is probably one of the best Arthurian Legends I've read. I loved Mary's take on it.
5. THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA by C.S. Lewis. I actually still have a set of these books I really need to read them now that I'm older.
6. DRACULA by Bram Stoker. What can I say? My love for vampires started early ;)
7. THE EARTHSEA CYCLE by Ursula K. Le Guin. Other than Narnia this was my first high fantasy series and I loved it!
8. THE GIVING TREE by Shel Silverstein. I actually re-read this one quite often and it makes me cry more as an adult than it did when I was little.
9. THE DOLLANGANGER Series by V.C. Andrews. I still can't believe I read this in my teens! Flowers in the Attic was crazy! But I'd like to revisit this one too see how much my perspective has changed.
10. THE NEVERENDING STORY by Michael Ende. I loved this book and it will always have a special place in my heart and I love the movie too :)
