Hey all! I'm so excited today to have Gina Damico stopping by for her ROGUE Blog Tour, Photo Hunt,Roguestravaganza! There is also an awesome giveaway so stay tuned for the details!

Let me hand the mic over to Gina now.....

Hey hey Croak fans! Welcome to my blog tour / photo hunt / Roguestravaganza!

From now until ROGUE's release on September 10th, each stop on the tour will reveal an image that represents a chapter in the book - could refer to setting, plot, an important object, mood, or whatever other diabolical visualizations with which I feel like tormenting my dear readers. Each image also contains a hidden letter...though really, they're not that well hidden. (If you have eyes, you should be able to spot them.) Collect the letters every day, and at the end of the tour I'll hold a contest, the winner of which will receive signed and annotated copies of the complete trilogy. (For a complete description of the contest, tour schedule, and links to the stops you might have missed, check out the blog tour page on my website.)

This photo is for Chapter 8. I will let the image do the talking.

Thanks for having me! Good luck everyone!

Teenage Grim Reaper Lex’s power to Damn souls is getting out of control. She's a fugitive, on the run from the maniacal new mayor of Croak and the townspeople who want to see her pay the price for her misdeeds. Uncle Mort rounds up the Junior Grims to flee Croak once again, but this time they're joined by Grotton, the most powerful Grim of all time. Their new mission is clear: fix his mistakes, or the Afterlife will cease to exist, along with all the souls in it.                                                The gang heads for Necropolis, the labyrinth-like capital city of the Grimsphere. There, they discover that the Grimsphere needs a reboot. To do that, the portals to the Afterlife must be destroyed...but even that may not be enough to fix the damage. Things go from bad to worse, and when at last the fate of the Afterlife and all the souls of the Damned hang in the balance, it falls to Lex and her friends to make one final, impossible choice.

Your strength in heart and hand will fall. . . .
Ellie knows that the darkest moments are still to come, and she has everything to fight for:

She must fight for Will.
The demonic have resorted to their cruelest weapons to put Will in mortal danger, and Ellie makes an unlikely alliance to save him and to stop Lilith and Sammael, who seek to drown the world in blood and tear a hole into Heaven.

She must fight for humanity.
As the armies of Hell rise and gather for the looming End of Days, Ellie and her band of allies travel to the world’s darkest and most ancient regions in her quest to come into her full glory as the archangel Gabriel.

And Ellie must save herself.
Her humanity withers beneath the weight of her cold archangel power, but Ellie must hold tight to who she is and who she loves as she prepares for the ultimate battle for Heaven and Earth.

In this final installment in the Angelfire trilogy, Courtney Allison Moulton brings her dark world of epic battles and blistering romance to a blazing bright conclusion.

So before I start my review I want to get a little bit sentimental. Angelfire was the first book I ever reviewed on this blog! If you want to see how much I loved that book check out my review here and mind you it was my first so my style has changed quite a bit since then. And then I reviewed Wings of the Wicked right around the time of my one year blogaversary which I loved as well and you can check out that one here. So it only seems fitting that as my two year blogaversary is coming up that this be one of the reviews to close my year out! And Courtney ended this series with a bang!

Ok so on to my review. Shadows was everything I hoped for and more!!!!! Not only because it finally had a lot of Cadan (that helped lol) but because it was an amazing and fitting end to this story! I really don’t know what to say except go get this book when it comes out; and be ready to cry and scream and want to throw things because Courtney brings the heat in this book! Who will survive? Will there be a happy ending? That I can’t tell you but I can say there are a few holy shit moments oh and we finally get to meet someone important from Will’s past! And yes Will fans he is definitely in this book too! Oh and one of the scenes that made me cry the most wasn’t even a Will/Ellie or Cadan/Ellie scene! It was a scene between Kate and Marcus it was possibly the sweetest thing I’ve read in a long time and I’d love to see a story from their POV (hint, hint Courtney!)

Ok enough of the ramble fest go get this book when it comes out!!!!!!!!!!! And check out this scene between Ellie and Cadan J

“I’m not him,” he said as the air rushed from his lungs in an awful, defeated sigh. “I’ll never be good enough, will I?”

“That’s not what it’s about,” I assured him. “I can’t explain what it’s like between Will and me. If things were different…”

“If I were angelic, you mean.”

“No. It’s not about what you are either. That doesn’t mean anything. It’s who you are that I care about and what makes you my friend.” I touched his jaw, which didn’t look so red anymore. “And if you were anything but what you are, like if you were human, then I’d be making a run to the ice machine to get you something for this shiner I just gave you.”

He gave a little smile and I released his face. I walked to my bed, pulled back the blanket, settled into the firm mattress.

Cadan was slower to reach his own bed. He sat down on the edge and leaned forward. He ran a hand through his hair and exhaled. “I’m sorry Ellie. I really am”

“It’s all right,” I said, peeking up at him from my pillow. “Get some rest. We both need some.”

“You’ve got a better heart than me.”

“You’ve got a heart and soul of gold.” I told him. “You just haven’t quite figured out how to tap into all of it yet. I have faith in you, Cadan. I believe in you. Once you can believe in yourself, that you really can do good, you’ll see a huge difference in yourself.”

“Thank you, Ell.”

“Now sleep,” I said firmly. “Don’t make me slap you again.”

Blog Tour- Undeadly by Michelle Vail Music Post and a Giveaway

Hey y’all! Thanks for stopping by today! I have Michele Vail here author of Undeadly and she’s been gracious enough to answer some questions about her book and music! So besides the Q&A I have a playlist! Of course I will link to videos of my favorites so check out the post below and make sure to fill out the rafflecopter form below to win a book!

Haven’t heard of Undeadly yet? Check it out!

Undeadly
Michelle Vail
Release date: November 20, 2012
Paperback: 272 pages
Publisher: Harlequin Teen
ISBN: 0373210469

The day I turned 16, my boyfriend-to-be died. I brought him back to life. Then things got a little weird...

Molly Bartolucci wants to blend in, date hottie Rick and keep her zombie-raising abilities on the down-low. Then the god Anubis chooses her to become a reaper-and she accidentally undoes the work of another reaper, Rath. Within days, she’s shipped off to the Nekyia Academy, an elite school that trains the best necromancers in the world. And her personal reaping tutor? Rath. Who seems to hate her guts.

Rath will be watching closely to be sure she completes her first assignment-reaping Rick, the boy who should have died. The boy she still wants to be with. To make matters worse, students at the academy start turning up catatonic, and accusations fly-against Molly. The only way out of this mess? To go through hell. Literally.

Now onto the interview and the playlist!

Hey Michele! First I wanted to say I love Egyptian Mythology and Undeadly sounds awesome!

Thank you so much, Jaime! I appreciate being on Two Chicks on Books today and I’m very excited to be here! I love Egyptian mythology, too, and I really liked incorporating those elements into Molly’s world.

So my first question is why did you decide to write about Egyptian Myth?

I've had a long-term fascination with ancient Egyptian culture and their complex pantheon of gods. I especially like their ideas about the underworld and its keepers. Their view of death and the afterlife is rich with ideas and images that gave me great inspiration for how to create the world that Molly lives in.

For those who haven’t had the chance to read Undeadly can you give us a little background on the story?

Molly is on the verge of turning sixteen and *this close* to dating one of the cutest and most popular boys at her high school. She’s a ka heka, a necromancer who can makes zombies, so she works at her father’s zomporium learning the trade. Other than that, she’s a fairly normal teenage girl … at least until the night of her sixteenth birthday.

Who was your favorite character to write? Least favorite?

My favorite character is Molly. (My next favorite is reaper Rath.) I don’t know that I had any least favorite characters. I had some least favorite moments with characters, creating difficult situations for Molly because she has to learn and grow as a person and as a reaper.

Since today you are sharing a playlist with me how does music influence your writing?

Music can be inspiring and mood-altering, which is great from a creative perspective. Music is very personal. It reflects how we feel—about ourselves, our world, our friends. The sound, the words, the feelings created by the music and lyrics can influence you greatly, especially as a writer.

What are you writing now?

I’m writing UNCHOSEN, Book 2 in The Reaper Diaries. Yay!

Thanks so much for stopping by Two Chicks on Books!

Thank you for having me! I've enjoyed being on your blog!

Cover Reveal Inbetween By Tara Fuller

Hey y’all! We have another cover reveal today brought to you from the amazing peeps at Entangled Publishing and author Tara Fuller! Inbetween has a new look and it’s absolutely gorgeous! Also Tara is posting the prologue on her website so get a sneak peek into Inbetween before you can buy it!

Here’s the synopsis-

Since the car crash that took her father’s life two years ago, Emma’s life has been a freaky—and unending—lesson in caution. Surviving “accidents” has taken priority over being a normal seventeen-year-old, so Emma spends her days taking pictures of life instead of living it. Falling in love with a boy was never part of the plan. Falling for a reaper who makes her chest ache and her head spin? Not an option. It’s not easy being dead; especially for a reaper in love with a girl fate has put on his list not once, but twice. Finn’s fellow reapers give him hell about spending time with Emma, but Finn couldn’t let her die before, and he’s not about to let her die now. He will protect the girl he loves from the evil he accidentally unleashed, even if it means sacrificing the only thing he has left. His soul.

Jaime's Review of Before I Wake by Rachel Vincent

Before I Wake
Rachel Vincent
Paperback: 352 Pages
Release Date: June 26, 2012
Publisher: Harlequin Teen
ISBN: 0373210612
Source: Borrowed from Rachel at Fiktshun thank's bestie!!! <33333333
Rating: Obsessed

From Goodreads.

I died on a Thursday-killed by a monster intent on stealing my soul. The good news? He didn't get it. The bad news? Turns out not even death will get you out of high school... Covering up her own murder was one thing, but faking life is much harder than Kaylee Cavanaugh expected. After weeks spent "recovering," she's back in school, fighting to stay visible to the human world, struggling to fit in with her friends and planning time alone with her new reaper boyfriend. But to earn her keep in the human world, Kaylee must reclaim stolen souls, and when her first assignment brings her face-to-face with an old foe, she knows the game has changed. Her immortal status won't keep her safe. And this time Kaylee isn't just gambling with her own life....

I have so many feelings about this book! I loved If I Die and I didn’t think that Rachel could top it, no way no how! I mean the thing that I had been waiting for forever finally happened in If I Die no not Kaylee dying but, if you’ve read If I Die you’ll know what I’m talking about ;)

Before I Wake made my heart soar at one moment then ripped it out and tore it to shreds the next.
There’s one scene in this book where I lost it. I mean literally lost it! Ugly red eyes, tears, runny nose the works; and no I won’t tell you which scene but it devastated me. There were also a few scenes where I swooned so much I felt like I needed a cold shower and yeah… sorry Team Nash peeps those were between Tod and Kay. Also I already really liked Sabine in If I Die but I came to adore her in this one she had some of the best one liner’s and had me cracking up! I mean she actually says at one point about Sophie…. “Yeah and hissing kittens think they’re badass, too.” It’s so fitting! I also loved Kaylee’s dad in this one he’s trying so hard to make sure his daughter still has a “normal” life and he’s even trying to have an “open door” policy when it comes to Tod and Kaylee and a curfew lol it’s so cute! Oh and Nash isn't as much of an asshat in this one so Nash fans that should make you happy!

I don’t want to talk much about the story as I feel I will go into spoilery territory but holy crap! There’s things that I never saw coming not in a million years and Rachel definitely ups the WTF’ery in this one. I definitely used a lot of curse words while reading this one! I can’t wait to see how this story all ends in With All My Soul the final Soul Screamers book! But man am I going to be sad to see this series I love so much come to an end!

I had a really hard time finding a passage for this one that wasn’t too spoilery and I also had to choose from about 20 pages that I had post-it notes on. I didn’t want to share any of the swoon worthy scenes I figured y’all would love to wait and read them on their own….. So I think I finally found one that is awesome though! It’s between Kaylee and her dad.

I pushed the open the door to find him sitting on the edge of his bed in a pair of flannel pajama pants, squinting at the alarm clock on his bedside table. “Guess what? I made breakfast.”

“You made…?” But before he could finish that thought, our ancient water heater groaned to life and the sound of running water erupted form down the hall. My dad’s eyes widened as he glanced at the closed bathroom door over my shoulder. “Who’s in the shower?”

“Nash. We kind of… had an impromptu sleepover.”

“You and Nash?” My dad was out of bed in an instant, reaching for the robe tossed over his footboard.

“No! Well yes. But, Sabine stayed the night, too.”

“That doesn’t sound much better, Kay…”

“Hang on, Pa, don’t reach for yer shotgun just yet,” I said, grinning over the protective streak I found funny, when there wasn’t actually anything to shelter me from. “We were just circlin’ the wagons, not having an orgy.”

My dad suddenly looked like he might be sick. “Please don’t ever say that word again.”

“Wagons?” I teased, and he actually cracked a smile.

“Yes, you’re much too young to be using Wild West analogies,” He tied his robe and ran one hand through his hair that showed no sign of thinning, well into his one hundred and thirty-second year. “So what happened? Why are we circling the proverbial wagons?”

Add this to your Goodreads shelves.

If you haven’t pre-ordered this one yet I highly suggest it! You’ll want to read it ASAP!
