Blog Tour- RENEGADES by Marissa Meyer My Superhero Costume

Hey everyone! I am thrilled to be hosting a spot on the blog tour for RENEGADES by Marissa Meyer! I adore Marissa and her books!

I'm on Team Renegade and I'm going to show you what I would wear if I were a hero today!

Haven't heard of RENEGADES? Check it out!

Title: RENEGADES
Author: Marissa Meyer
Pub. Date: November 7, 2017
Publisher: Feiwel & Friends
Pages: 576
Formats: Hardcover, eBook, audiobook
Find it: AmazonAudibleB&NiBooksTBDGoodreads
From #1 New York Times-bestselling author Marissa Meyer, comes a high-stakes world of adventure, passion, danger, and betrayal.

Secret Identities.
Extraordinary Powers.
She wants vengeance. He wants justice.

The Renegades are a syndicate of prodigies—humans with extraordinary abilities—who emerged from the ruins of a crumbled society and established peace and order where chaos reigned. As champions of justice, they remain a symbol of hope and courage to everyone...except the villains they once overthrew.

Nova has a reason to hate the Renegades, and she is on a mission for vengeance. As she gets closer to her target, she meets Adrian, a Renegade boy who believes in justice—and in Nova. But Nova's allegiance is to a villain who has the power to end them both.

Now on to my costume!

I was going to search through Pinterest for my inspiration but then I remembered Marvel has a great set of sketches! This is my ideal costume based off of Spiderwoman’s new look!

Of course I'd remove the spider on the front but I love that this costume goes from normal looking to badass with just a zipper!

About Marissa:
MARISSA MEYER is the #1 New York Times–bestselling author of The Lunar Chronicles series, as well as the graphic novel Wires and Nerve: Vol. 1, and The Lunar Chronicles Coloring Book. Her first stand alone novel, Heartless, was also a #1 New York Times bestseller. She lives in Tacoma, Washington, with her husband and their two daughters.

Top Ten Tuesday (82)- My Top Ten Favorite Villains

Hi thanks for stopping by!!! And welcome to my Top 10 Tuesday post!

Thanks to the lovely ladies at The Broke And The Bookish for creating this weekly meme!

Here's this week's topic.

October 4:  All About The Villains -- I don't think we've done a villains topic since back in November 2010 so let's revisit: top ten favorite/most compelling villains in books, top ten of the most vile villains/bad guys in books, top ten villains I secretly (or not so secretly) love, favorite tv villains, favorite comic book villains, ten "villains" of contemporary lit.

I love a good villain so I decided to do my all time favorite villains they may be from books, movies, or TV shows. I'll link to the goodreads page or IMDB page.

1. The Commander from Maria V. Snyder's Study and Glass books. This is one creepy ass villain and you never know his motives.

2. Sylar from Heroes. He is probably one of my all time favorite TV villains!

3. The Commandant from Sabaa Tahir's An Ember in The Ashes series. This chick is messed up

4. Warner's Father. The Supreme Commander from Tahereh Mafi's Shatter Me series. This is one bad dude.

5. Khan from the early Star Trek Movies. I'm talking Ricardo Montalban not Benedict Cumberbatch his Khan was a pussycat compared to Montalban's.

6. Voldemort & Umbridge. From both the Harry Potter books and movies. Voldermort was the true villain of the stories and her was awful but in my opinion Dolores Umbridge was worse.

7. Jack Randall from the Outlander books and TV series. He's just a disguising human being and I hate him.

8. The Fairy Queen Anise from Claire Legrand's Winterspell. She may seem nice and sweet she is one bad, bad person.

9. Neegan from The Walking Dead graphic novels and TV show. Yes we just met him on the show last season, and I know who he kills in the graphic novels. I have my fingers crossed it's not the same for the TV show. I love Jeffrey Dean Morgan too so I'm happy I get to see him play such an iconic villain.

10. Rose Red the haunted house in Stephen King's Rose Red Mini-series.(yes I'm talking about a house but it's no ordinary house). Trust me if you haven't seen this find a way to watch it! It's perfect for Halloween!

So what about you? Who are your favorite villains ? And check back next week for my Top Ten books I've read because friends recommended them to me!!

Hugs,
Jaime

The Nefarious Nine- Introducing Lahettaa and a Few Giveaways!

Greetings mortals! We have partnered with Penguin Teen and Marie Lu to celebrate Marie’s evilicious book THE ROSE SOCIETY and we are here to announce our villain crew! And today it's my turn *evil laugh*!

Also make sure to check at the bottom of the post for 3 amazing giveaways and make sure to check in each day of the schedule some of the blogs have special surprise giveaways planned!

I am Lahettaa but my friends (well not friends since I don't have those) rather cohorts call me Hettaa. I am a norse witch or völva as we are called in our native tongue. I have many powers but my main and most important power in my opinion is teleportation. I am not old in looks as are most völva but I am ancient. I am a direct descendant from Freyja the goddess of war, death, love, beauty, and some other unimportant stuff.

Believe it or not I used to be good, well good for the vikings bad for everyone else. I was a warrior witch and I would teleport to the lands that we plundered ahead of time and teleport back to tell my brothers and sisters what to expect when they landed. Yeah Ragnar Lothbrok had my help many times.

I had a great life! I was to be married to a powerful viking warlord but another woman caught his eye and he married her instead. I was the winner in the end. I spelled him so he was infertile and couldn't carry on his bloodline and the woman he married? I took my vengeance another way... Trust me you don't want to know what I did to her it would make you cringe. My brothers and sisters turned on me after that and tried to murder me.

I fled and lived on my own for a long time not wanting to deal with people. I found a small house in a new land and killed anyone who crossed my path. But I got bored living in the same place so I started randomly teleporrting to different lands. I met Fiammata first in Italy (although she's a bit humble and says she didn't help form this group she did) her fire wielding power was horrifying and amazing at the same time and I knew we should work together. We founded the group that is now known as the Nefarious Nine, trust me you do not want to run into any of us in a dark alley or alone on a country road. We like to play and toy with our victims before we kill them. If you are bad we may keep you around to be one of our many lackeys. If you're good beware because we are coming for you. Do you have what it takes to defeat us? I think not.

So I love me some Villains here’s my Top 10 Villains of 2012!

1. Commander Chase from CJ Redwine’s Defiance. Easily one of the skeeviest bad guys I’ve ever read about. Just thinking about him gives me the heebie jeebies!

2. Mother from JA Souder’s Renegade. This woman is pure insanity! She is willing to brainwash and kill to get what she wants. Even if the brainwashing is done to her own daughter.

3. Vaughn from Lauren DeStefano’s Fever.  This man tortures and kills in the name of science. I sure hope he meets his maker in book 3.

4. Darkling from Leigh Bardugo’s Shadow and Bone. Darkling, oh my beautiful, evil, damaged Darkling you were so close to making the boyfriends list but, I just read Siege and Storm and after that you will forever be on my villain list!

5. Prophet from Jennifer Bosworth’s Struck another dude who gave me the heebie jeebies. Religious cult leaders seem to do that to me.

6. Warner’s Dad from Destroy Me. Y’all think Warner is bad (I don’t) this dude takes the cake!

7. Queen Levana from Marissa Meyer’s Cinder. One evil alien bitch right here!

8. Orion from Beth Revis’s  A Million Suns. Damn I like this dude so much he really only does what he thinks is best for his people but he is a killer so…..

9. The Alchemist from Kresley Cole’s Poison Princess. Yeah dude thinks he can become immortal by torturing girls.

10. Lilith from Courtney Allison Moulton’s Wings of the Wicked.  I hate this chick so much and she’s not even the worst from the books!
