Blog Tour- INTO THE STILL BLUE by Veronica Rossi and a Giveaway!!!

I am so excited to have my friend, Veronica Rossi with the love of my life Roar and he's talking about his favorite song! I freaking love this series so much and was sad to see it come to an end but it was a perfect ending! Make sure to enter the giveaway below for a copy of the book!

Haven't heard of INTO THE STILL BLUE? Check it out!

INTO THE STILL BLUE
Author: Veronica Rossi
Release Date: January 28, 2014
Pages: 400
Publisher: HarperTeen

The earth-shattering conclusion to Veronica Rossi's "masterpiece" Under the Never Sky trilogy and sequel to the New York Timesbestselling Through the Ever Night (Examiner.com).

Their love and their leadership have been tested. Now it's time for Perry and Aria to unite the Dwellers and the Outsiders in one last desperate attempt to bring balance to their world.

The race to the Still Blue has reached a stalemate. Aria and Perry are determined to find this last safe-haven from the Aether storms before Sable and Hess do-and they are just as determined to stay together.

Meanwhile, time is running out to rescue Cinder, who was abducted by Hess and Sable for his unique abilities. And when Roar returns to camp, he is so furious with Perry that he won't even look at him, and Perry begins to feel like they have already lost.

Out of options, Perry and Aria assemble a team to mount an impossible rescue mission-because Cinder isn't just the key to unlocking the Still Blue and their only hope for survival, he's also their friend. And in a dying world, the bonds between people are what matter most.

In this final book in her stunning Under the Never Sky trilogy, Veronica Rossi raises the stakes to their absolute limit and brings her epic love story to an unforgettable close.

Now on to the post!

My favorite song? Well, let's see. It would be one that Aria sings, of course. I'd sing with her too, if she wanted. We've done plenty of duets together, but let's face it. She's the real singer. So that's the first thing.

The second thing... It should be a song that embarrasses Perry because nothing in this world makes me happier. If he physically walks out of the room because he's embarrassed, then I would tattoo those lyrics onto my skin. Wait. We should make that first. It's more important than Aria singing, so move that up, okay?

What else? I like anything I can accompany on my guitar. And verses that rhyme are good--the more forced and clumsy the better. Terrible rhyming and over-singing is where I tend to shine. And it should have a big finish. None of that fade away business.
Yes. That all sounds good to me.

(smiles)

What do you think?

Thanks Roar! That was very helpful lol and go easy on Perry!

Blog Tour- Through The Ever Night and a Giveaway!!!!!!

Hey y’all! Welcome to my stop for the Through the Ever Night Blog tour! Hosted by Tales of a Ravenous Reader and me! I have the awesome and delicious Roar here today and he’s interviewing Aria! And make sure to fill out the rafflecopter form below for you chance to win the prize pack!

Roar interviews Aria

Roar: Have you ever considered that you fell for Perry because he was the first Outsider you ever met?  Maybe there is some kind of Outsider spell that can only be broken if you kiss another Outsider?

Aria: I’m not kissing you, Roar. Nice try.

Roar: Thanks. Second question. Do you really think a boy and a girl as attractive as we are can just be friends?

Aria: Yes.

Roar: Oh... I do too. So if you could sing a duet from the 1980's, in perfect harmony, with your handsome platonic boyfriend, which song would it be?

Aria: How about Turn Around Bright Eyes? It's so over the top. I love it. You and I could slay that song.

Roar: You'd want to sing with me? I'm flattered, Aria. Next question. If you could have a night out with your charismatic, articulate, intelligent handsome friend, all the things Perry isn't, what would you do with that friend who happens to be a boy?

Aria: Go to a karaoke bar and sing Turn Around Bright Eyes?

Roar: I was hoping for something a sexier, but that would work. Last question. Not that I would ever want anything bad to happen to Perry, but let's say something did, and you couldn't be with him ever again, would you be able to move on and be with someone who is even more incredible? If so, how long would it take you to get over him and move on with this other incredible person? A few days?  A week?  A week and half?

Aria: I'm not answering that.

Roar: The answer is a day, isn't it?

Thanks so much for stopping by Roar and Aria you two are awesome!!!!!!

It's been months since Aria last saw Perry. Months since Perry was named Blood Lord of the Tides, and Aria was charged with an impossible mission. Now, finally, they are about to be reunited. But their reunion is far from perfect. The Tides don't take kindly to Aria, a former Dweller. And with the worsening Aether storms threatening the tribe's precarious existence, Aria begins to fear that leaving Perry behind might be the only way to save them both.

Threatened by false friends, hidden enemies, and powerful temptations, Aria and Perry wonder, Can their love survive through the ever night?

4. Everneath by Brodi Ashton. K I said there were a few and this is one of my favorites! I love the smoke at the bottom!

5. Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi.Loved this book and I loved this cover! The lightening and the blues were just so pretty!

6. Dragonswood by Janet Lee Carey. I thought this was a smart cover with a girl in a dress. I love how she's levitating above the water.

Review- Through The Ever Night by Veronica Rossi

Through the Ever Night
Veronica Rossi
Release Date: January 8, 2013
Hardcover:  400 pages
Publisher: Harper Teen(Harper)
ISBN: 0062072064
Source: ARC from The San Francisco Book Review and the publisher
Rating: Obesssed!!!!!!!!!!!
From Goodreads.

A world-defying love is put to the ultimate test in the heart-stopping sequel to Veronica Rossi's "masterpiece," Under the Never Sky. (Examiner.com)

Threatened by false friends, hidden enemies, and powerful temptations, Aria and Perry wonder,
Can their love survive through the ever night?

In this second book in her spellbinding Under the Never Sky trilogy, Veronica Rossi combines fantasy and dystopian elements to create a captivating love story as perilous as it is unforgettable.

I freaking loved this book so much it hurts! I loved Under the Never Sky but I am completely obsessed with Through the Ever Night! Why you ask? Well it’s quite simple, this book had so much of Roar in it! I love Perry and Aria but whenever Roar is in a scene I almost forget they exist. And he sings in this one part and even though I can’t hear it; I can imagine his beautiful, soulful voice... even when singing a ridiculous song! Crap went off on a tangent there sorry. Oh and we get to meet Liv in this book too and I will admit I hated her for so many reasons (Roar, *cough* Roar). But she is an awesome character!

Ok so onto the story. Veronica has done it again! She has written a vividly beautiful but violent world where if the weather doesn’t kill you the people may. And I was on the edge of my seat reading almost the whole thing! Oh and Veronica threw in so many WTF moments I thought I may throw the book! But I didn’t, I know some people who did though lol. Oh and yes people it’s told in both Aria and Perry’s POV’s again as well. So never fear Perry fans you’ll get a ton of him! And OMFG the ending was so awesome I am dying to get my hands on book 3 Into the Still Blue!

Ok so this wouldn't be a Jaime review without a Roar scene to share with you so here goes!!! Aria is speaking to him telepathically.

She reached out and rested her hand on Roar’s forearm. For some reason, this seemed easier. Maybe it took less courage to just let herself think than to speak her worries aloud.

‘What if this was a sign? Maybe I’m not supposed to be an Outsider.’

He surprised her by taking her hand and threading his fingers through hers. “You already are an Outsider. You fit everywhere. You just don’t see it yet.”

She stared at their hands. He’d never done that before.

Roar gave her a droll look. “It’s just odd having you lay your hand on my arm all the time,” he said, responding to her thoughts.

‘Yes, but this feels intimate. Don’t you think it does? I don’t mean that I think we’re being too intimate. I guess I do. Roar, sometimes it’s really hard to get used to this.’

Roar flashed a grin. “Aria, this isn't intimate. If I were being intimate with you, trust me, you’d know.”

She rolled her eyes. ‘Next time you say something like that, you should toss a red rose and then leave with a swish of your cape.’

He gazed off like he was imagining it. “I could do that.”

They fell into silence, and she realized how comforting it felt being connected to him this way.

“Good,” Roar said. “That’s the idea.”

I really hope there’s a trailer for this one because I loved the one for UtNS! Haven’t seen that one yet? Here ya go! :D
