We are so super excited to finally
be able to announce some of the details for the AUTHORS ARE ROCKSTARS Tour that
we’re bringing to you this August.
We’ve been keeping it just a little
bit quiet until we were sure we had enough rockstars signed on for this
month-long event. But now that we do, we can finally tell you what it’s all
about.
For many of us readers and book
lovers, the authors who pen these books take on an idol-like status. Much like
that of those musicians who fill stadiums with their fans. Well, musicians are
great, but to us our favorite authors are the true rockstars. And so we wanted
a chance to put them in the spotlight and what better way to do that than to
send them out on tour for the month of August.
So, for the entire month of August
we will be matching up the rockstar authors who have agreed to be on tour with
the bloggers who idolize them.
On each day of the tour there will
be one, two or possibly three authors being spotlighted for their rockstar
status around the blogosphere. Each stop on the tour will be in the form of
interviews or guest posts. Some tour stops will have giveaways. But all tour
stops will be at blogs who think their authors rock.
Just to give you a tease at some of
the amazing rockstars on the tour, we bring to you a lineup which includes Julie
Kagawa, Rachel Vincent, Jeri Smith-Ready, Chloe Neill,
Tahereh Mafi, Scott Tracey, Wendy Higgins, Maria V. Snyder, Victoria
Schwab, Lisa Desrochers, Lesley Livingston, Jennifer
Armentrout, Courtney Summers, Alyxandra Harvey, Bethany
Griffin, Brodi Ashton, Cynthia Hand and more…We said it was just a teaser. The
full lineup will be announced in the sign-up post next week.
While we’d love to feature every
single amazing author that we think are rockstars, there are only thirty-one
days in the month and we couldn’t possibly juggle more than three stops a day.
So, just because an author is not featured in no way means that we don’t think
they’re rockstars.

long so that we will have time to make the best matches possible between

and characters that have blown our minds, torn out our hearts, enchanted and
