Sweet Evil Read Along Week 3

Hey y’all! Welcome to week one of the Sweet Evil Read Along hosted by Mindy at Magical Urban Fantasy Reads and co-hosted by me here at Two Chicks on Books as well as Rachel from Fiktshun, Tara from Tater’s Tall Tales and Nancy from The Ravenous Reader!

This week we’ll be reading chapters 17-25 and our topic this week is Truth or Dare. I honestly hated this game when I was younger I always chose dare because I would have rather done something stupid than tell anyone my deepest darkest secrets. And honestly I’m still kind of that way. Only my closest friends know my secrets.

But I am actually going to choose truth this time around. Truth: I was so busy last week with work and also I went out of town I didn’t get to read my chapters for this week. Good thing I’ve already read Sweet Evil and this is mostly for those of you who haven’t so if you’ve read the chapters this week I’d love to hear your thoughts! Post your links in the comments section!

Make sure to check out my complete review check here! And come back next Sunday for Chapters fifteen through twenty-one! Oh and if you haven’t signed up for the read along yet it’s not too late just go the Sweet Evil Read Along Page and sign up!

  1. For the first time in a long time, I actually had a little bit of time on my hands and read AHEAD in the book. LOL I haven't written my week 3 post yet though. Man, but I love this book and I think I have a new fave character - Ginger! I love her snarky comments! :D

  2. I just re-read this week's chapters, and I really like this part of the book, the part where Anna meets the other Nephilim and Kaidan gets all jealous of Kope :P

  3. I re-read it earlier so I am a little ahead. I hated the game too, though I always picked truth.

  4. I'm done reading the whole book during the second week of the read along. I'm not a fan of Truth or Dare game either.

  5. Haha...I think there are going to be lots of truths. The only dare I could come up with was daring myself to go on a book-buying ban and that's just not going to happen. :P

  6. I read really fast so I finished already but I tried to write down my thoughts as I went. I loved truth or dare! lol I'm pretty open although there are a few things I wouldn't want to share. But usually things no one asked. I love dares! I find it fun to make a fool of myself. :-D

  7. I kinda like that part of the book, I mean I love Kai and it kills me to see him suffering but without that I don't think he'll see how deep his feelings are.

  8. Life seems to get in the way of my reading far too much lately.

  9. I don't trust Anna's dad! There is something about him that makes me want to kick him!
I think I already re-read the books each week, lol!

    And as for the book?
    O___________O
I don't even know where to begin with, only that I'm more and more in love with a certain someone whose name starts with 'K' and it is NOT Kai...
