May 5: Ten Books I Will Probably Never Read
I have a whole never will read list on goodreads. Some is because of bad author behavior and some just because it's not a genre I'd read. So here's a few from that list.
1. The Fifty Shades series. I just won't go there. Bad fanfic with poor editing even after it got picked up by a publisher.
2. Anything by James Frey/Pittacus Lore.He's just a slimy weasel and I refuse to give him or his company any money or reviews.
3. Anything by Kathleen Hale. 1 she writes contemp (not my preferred genre and 2 she stalked a blogger!)
4. League of Strays by LB Schulman she's treated bloggers and reviewers badly.
5. Anything by John Green. I like him I really do but his books aren't my thing. I've tried I just don't get the hype.
6. Any new Anne Rice books. Her new stuff is meh and she went off the deep ens and is supporting groups like stop the goodreads bullies.
7. Any Jamie Macguire books. She just rubs me the wrong way and has had bad author behavior. She treated a friend of mine pretty awful and I won't forget that.
8. Kelly Armstrong's Bitten Series. It's on my TBR but lets be honest. I have a crap ton of books to read and this series is huge!
9. George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire Series. Another on my TBR that I will probably never read especially since there's a TV show that I watch and love.
10. Rachel Caine's Morganville Vampire series. I tried this one once but it didn't hold my interest at the time. It's still on my TBR and my bookshelves but I doubt I'll get back to it.
