So then I get asked: Tell us about your first kiss
and I say, “Eek, do I have to think about that?! My first kiss at 14 was
nerve-racking and sloppy (and he was 17!) Not what I expected, actually . . .
But later, something compelled me to go back for more . . . like it does for
all of us, *winks*. Kissing is fun to write about and I tried to bring to life
those first kisses with Jayden and Kadesh to show the romance and passion teens
experience.

Griffiths Little grew up in San Francisco, but now lives in an adobe house on
the banks of the Rio Grande with her chaotic, messy family. She’s drunk so much
Land of Enchantment water that some of that ancient magic got into her blood
and now spurts out her pencil—um, ergonomic keyboard.
