Hey y’all!  Thanks to Harlequin Teen and Big Honcho Media I have 2 finished copies of Julie Kagawa’s The Lost Prince to giveaway! I’m a huge fan of Julie’s books so I’m super stoked to be able to host this giveaway and get Ethan, Megan, Ash, Puck, Grim, and all of Julie’s Fey out there into the world! So fill out the Rafflecopter form below!

About The Lost Prince
Don't look at Them. Never let Them know you can see Them. That is Ethan Chase's unbreakable rule. Until the fey he avoids at all costs—including his reputation—begin to disappear, and Ethan is attacked. Now he must change the rules to protect his family. To save a girl he never thought he'd dare to fall for.

Ethan thought he had protected himself from his older sister's world—the land of Faery. His previous time in the Iron Realm left him with nothing but fear and disgust for the world Meghan Chase has made her home, a land of myth and talking cats, of magic and seductive enemies. But when destiny comes for Ethan, there is no escape from a danger long, long forgotten.

About The Iron Fey Series
The Iron Fey saga follows half-human, half-faery Meghan Chase as she fights to claim her magical birthright.

Meghan’s journey begins in the mortal world, when her half-brother Ethan is kidnapped. The mission to rescue the innocent child draws Meghan into the Nevernever—the magical world—where the never-before-seen Iron fey are raining destruction upon traditional faeries. Meghan’s quest is fraught with unimagined dangers, unpredictable powers…and an utterly forbidden love.

Now little Ethan is all grown up—and a new breed of fey has come for him. Bound by blood to a world he despises, Ethan plunges into the Nevernever searching for answers: who are the ghostly assassins hunting him? Who controls them? And why are exiled and half-breed faeries vanishing from the mortal world?

With a vulnerable human girl to protect and an enigmatic faery ally he could never have imagined, Ethan embarks on his own Fey saga. Along the way he will encounter kin, comrades and deadly new enemies. He will discover his formidable strengths, and his deepest weaknesses—and he will fight for his life against the Forgotten.                                                                                    The second book in the Call of the Forgotten trilogy will be released November 2013.

 About the author
Born in Sacramento, CA, Julie Kagawa moved to Hawaii at the age of nine. There she learned many things: how to bodyboard, that teachers scream when you put centipedes in their desks and that writing stories in math class is a fantastic way to kill time. Her teachers were glad to see her graduate. Julie now lives in Louisville, KY, with her husband and a plethora of pets. She still laughs whenever she sees a centipede.

In addition to The Call of the Forgotten trilogy, Julie will be releasing book 2 of her Blood of Eden series, THE ETERNITY CURE, in May 2013.

To save a girl he never thought he's dare to fall for. Ethan thought he had protected himself from his older sister's world—the land of Faery. His previous time in the Iron Realm left him with nothing but fear and disgust for the world Meghan Chase has made her home, a land of myths and talking cats, of magic and seductive enemies. But when destiny comes for Ethan, there is no escape from a danger long, long forgotten. My name is Ethan Chase. And I may not live to see my eighteenth birthday.

The Lost Prince was everything I thought it would be AND MORE! I will admit when I heard that Julie was writing and Iron Fey novel from Ethan’s POV two things came to mind. One, I normally don’t like books solely told from a guy’s POV. Two, how in the hell was I going to feel about Megan’s little brother being older? He was 4 or 5 the last time we saw him! Ok so I’ll admit when I first started reading and found myself finding Ethan hot I felt like a dirty old lady lol but, I tweeted Julie and she said “Lol, it’s okay. He's a 17 year old bad boy now. Feel free to oogle. ;)” and so I did! And I don’t feel bad about it at all, well maybe just a little still ;)

Ok so onto this amazing story. What Julie did was awesome! She brought back all of our old favorites so Team Puck and Team Ash you’ll both be happy. But the story was completely Ethan’s and it was dark and haunting and breathtakingly beautiful. I loved how Julie showed this other side of the Fey; or what a human caught in their world would feel. His fear was palpable and his need for isolation I totally understood. There are a few people who break through his wall though, an Iron Fey named Keirran (if you’ve read any of Julie’s blog posts, or The Iron Knight you may have an inkling why this dude is important) and a girl, a human girl named Kenzie who doesn’t put up with Ethan’s crap and is as stubborn as he is (looovvveee her btw!)  and together they have this adventure, not a good one mind you, that is very reminiscent of journeys taken by Ash, Megan, and Puck. The new baddies are scary and every bit as evil as the Iron Fey were, maybe worse. I also loved how Julie incorporated the martial arts she’s taking in real life into the story. Ethan is a badass in Kali and he’s wicked with a sword or a wooden stick! People let me tell you right now when this book goes on sale you must buy it!

I picked a passage between Kenzie and Ethan because they make me lol. Oh and a certain Cat is in it as well. ;) ;)

My mouth was dry again. “I’ll replace it. Once we get back to the real world—“

“Don’t worry about it, tough guy.” Kenzie waived it off. “It’s just a camera. And I think surviving an attack by a giant snake monster was more important.”

“Lindwurm,” came the voice above our heads, and Grimalkin appeared in the branches, peering down at us.

“That,” he stated imperiously, “was a lindwurm, and a rather young one at that. An adult would have given you considerably more trouble.” He flicked his tail and dropped to the ground, wrinkling his nose as he gazed at us. “There might be others around as well, so I suggest we keep moving.”

I glared at the cat as we maneuvered through the trees again, wincing as my bruised ribs twinged. “You couldn’t have warned us any earlier?”

“I tried,” Grimalkin replied with a sniff. “But you were too busy discussing hostile vegetation and how fairies are completely untrustworthy. I practically had to yell to get your attention.” He glanced over his soulder with a distinct I-told-you-so expression. “Next time, when I suggest you move silently through a dangerous part of the
Nevernever, perhaps you will listen to me.”

“Huh,” Kenzie muttered, walking along beside me. “You know, if all cats are like him, I’m kinda glad they don’t talk.”

“That you know of, human.” Grimalkin returned mysteriously, and continued deeper into the wildwood.
