Hey all! I'm going to be sharing some Comic Con things this weekend. I was supposed to go but couldn't but I am getting all the cool news and press releases via email so I wanted to make sure my readers get all the news and get to take a peek at all of the things I'm excited for!

First up! The History Channel revealed the trailer for season 4 of Vikings and OMG it looks sooooooo good! If you haven't started this show yet now's a great time with not much to watch on TV! If you have Amazon Prime seasons 1 & 2 are free! It's also up on Hulu, and The History Channel website! But for those of you who love the show here's the season 4 trailer!

Next up is USA Networks new show Colony! I'm super excited for this because I love Josh Holloway and Sarah Wayne Callies. People are saying it's like "Lost" with all the mysteries to unravel and I can't wait to see it!

Here's the press release and trailer.

SAN DIEGO – July 10, 2015 – USA Network unveiled its highly anticipated new drama, COLONY, at San Diego’s Comic-Con® today.  Executive producers Carlton Cuse (“Lost,” “Bates Motel”) and Ryan Condal (“Hercules”), along with series stars Josh Holloway (“Lost”), Sarah Wayne Callies (“Walking Dead”) and Peter Jacobson, treated fans to a dynamic panel discussion, a first look trailer and an exclusive eleven minute sneak peek of the show’s premiere episode.  COLONY will be coming to USA Network in mid-October.

Set in the very near future, COLONY centers on one family’s struggle to survive and bring liberty back to the people of an occupied Los Angeles.  SAG winner Josh Holloway (“Lost”) stars as former FBI agent Will Bowman and Satellite Award winner Sarah Wayne Callies (“The Walking Dead”) stars as his wife, Katie, in the series which takes place in a dangerous world of divided ideologies.  While some choose to collaborate with the occupation and benefit from the new order, others rebel and suffer the consequences.  After being separated from their middle son during the invasion, Will and Katie are willing to do whatever is necessary to be reunited with him.  Thus, when the powerful Proxy Snyder (Peter Jacobson, “House”) offers Will a chance to get his son back if he will collaborate with the occupational government, Will and Katie find themselves faced with the toughest decision of their lives.  They will have to go beyond whatever they thought possible, risking their lives and their relationship to protect their family.  COLONY is a co-production between Legendary Television and Universal Cable Productions.

The Series from Original filmmakers Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert and Bruce Campbell is set to Premiere Saturday, October 31 at 9 PM

Beverly Hills, Calif., July 10, 2015 – STARZ today announced the highly anticipated premiere of original series “Ash vs Evil Dead” onSaturday, October 31 at 9 PM ET/PT and released the first live action trailer during the series’ Comic Con panel in San Diego.  The 10-episode first season of the half-hour series is executive produced by Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, Bruce Campbell, the original filmmakers of the franchise, and Craig DiGregorio who serves as executive producer and showrunner.  “Ash vs Evil Dead,” which is currently in production in New Zealand, is the long-awaited follow-up to the classic horror film franchise The Evil Dead.

Campbell reprises his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead.  When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons –personal and literal.  Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its “Evil” grip.

The cast is led by Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, “Burn Notice”) in the role of Ash Williams, Lucy Lawless (“Salem,” “Spartacus”) as Ruby a mysterious figure who believes Ash is the cause of the Evil outbreaks, Ray Santiago (“Touch,” Meet the Fockers) as Pablo Simon Bolivar, an idealistic immigrant who becomes Ash’s loyal sidekick, Dana DeLorenzo (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas) as Kelly Maxwell, a moody wild child trying to outrun her past and Jill Marie Jones (“Sleepy Hollow”) as Amanda Fisher, a disgraced Michigan State Trooper set to find our anti-hero Ash and prove his responsibility in the grisly murder of her partner.

Raimi directed the first episode of “Ash vs Evil Dead” that he wrote with Ivan Raimi (DarkmanArmy of DarknessDrag Me to Hell), and Tom Spezialy (“Chuck,” “Reaper,” “Desperate Housewives”). Raimi also serves as executive producer, with Rob Tapert (Evil Dead, “Spartacus,” Xena: Warrior Princess”) and Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, “Burn Notice”) along with Craig DiGregorio (“Workaholics,” “Chuck”) who serves as executive producer/showrunner. Ivan Raimi serves as co-executive producer and Aaron Lam (“Spartacus”) and Chloe Smith (“Spartacus”) serve as producers.
