End of Days is the explosive conclusion to Susan Ee’s bestselling Penryn & the End of Days trilogy.

After a daring escape from the angels, Penryn and Raffe are on the run. They’re both desperate to find a doctor who can reverse the twisted changes inflicted by the angels on Raffe and Penryn’s sister. As they set off in search of answers, a startling revelation about Raffe’s past unleashes dark forces that threaten them all.

When the angels release an apocalyptic nightmare onto humans, both sides are set on a path toward war. As unlikely alliances form and strategies shift, who will emerge victorious? Forced to pick sides in the fight for control of the earthly realm, Raffe and Penryn must choose: Their own kind, or each other?

Not gonna lie I was expecting so much more from this one. I was completely obsessed with the first two books and when I found out the publisher, who had planned on a 6 book series, cut it to 3 I was apprehensive. I didn't know if one more book would be able to tell the rest of the story the way it should have been told and I was right. It was good but lacking.

It wasn't the epic finale I expected but it was still a good finish. I really didn't even feel any emotions untill almost the end of the book. There were 2 scenes that brought tears to my eyes and neither of them involved Penryn or Raffe. And the ending was pretty predictable. But I still liked it a lot just didn't love it like the first two books.

  1. I was kinda bummed with this myself. I found the ending to be rushed a bit and it stopped abruptly. It sucks that they made it a 3 book series because this had the potential to be amazing!
