Dying to Read (58)- ATLANTIA by Allie Condie

Hey y’all thanks for stopping by to see my Dying to Read post and of course as always I have to give credit to the lovely Jill over at Breaking the Spine for the Waiting on Wednesday Meme!

I love Ally Condie and can't wait to read this one!

ATLANTIA
Release Date: October 28, 2014
Hardcover: 368 pages
Publisher: Dutton Juvenile
ISBN: 978-0525426448
Can you hear Atlantia breathing?

For as long as she can remember, Rio has dreamt of the sand and sky Above—of life beyond her underwater city of Atlantia. But in a single moment, all her plans for the future are thwarted when her twin sister, Bay, makes an unexpected decision, stranding Rio Below. Alone, ripped away from the last person who knew Rio’s true self—and the powerful siren voice she has long hidden—she has nothing left to lose.

Guided by a dangerous and unlikely mentor, Rio formulates a plan that leads to increasingly treacherous questions about her mother’s death, her own destiny, and the complex system constructed to govern the divide between land and sea. Her life and her city depend on Rio to listen to the voices of the past and to speak long-hidden truths.

So what do you think? Will you be adding this to your pile? What are you dying to read this week?

  1. I loved Matched but got bored with Crossed and never finished it. This one sounds really good though. Underwater world and sirens and all!

  2. This one went straight on to my wishlist when I heard about it! I read Matched back when it first came out but I've never got round to the other 2 books, Atlantia sounds more like my sort of book! Hope you get to read it soon :)

  3. I didn't know she had a new series. I loved the first two books in the Matched series (still need to read the third one), so I'm looking forward to this one.

  6. I really loved Matched, so although the other two books weren't as good for me in her trilogy, I'm quite intrigued by this one, cause I love anything involving Atlantis!!
