Jaime’s review….

You all have no idea how hard this book is going to be to review. Everything about it could be viewed as spoilery. But I’m going to try my hardest.

A Touch Morbid was AWESOME!!!!!! One thing I think you all should know is this book is not Eden and Az centric there are multiple POV’s and most of my favorites were parts that had Luke in them. Yeah I know he’s the bad guy but I can’t help it he has completely captured my heart. Other parts of the book that I really liked were from Jarrod’s POV he’s really growing on me and I’m starting to love him too!

There were so many twists and turns in this story and so many lies and secrets! No I’m not going to say whom or what you must read the book when it comes out! All I will say is that I said a few curse words while reading A Touch Morbid and my jaw hit the floor multiple times. Leah has brought us new characters that are pretty cool also and the people we know and love have some major issues to work through.

What I love about Leah and her writing is she’s not afraid to pull punches. I’m absolutely dreading and dying to read book 3 of this series because I need to see where this twisted tale leads! She had me guessing some things till the very end and now that those questions have been answered she’s left us with more!

I really had a hard time finding a quote from Morbid that wasn’t too spoilery but I just couldn’t resist this part it’s a scene with Luke and he’s talking to someone I’m not going to say who you’ll just have to guess ;)

He trailed his fingers down her face and then further. They lingered against the swell of her breast, the lace of her bustier. “Because you tempt me. You demand I fight for your affections instead of taking what I please.” He dropped his hand. “You tell me no. You say stop. And I listen.” He said the last words like a curse, anger bleeding through, each word rougher than the last.

Luke tilted his head, his neck tense, cracking with a snap. He rolled his shoulders.

“You’re a silly little dead girl.” He glared at her, his tone harsh. “You should mean nothing to me.” He grabbed her chin, forced her to meet his eyes. “And yet I covet you more than anything else on this Earth.”

See he’s HOT!!!!! Literally ;)
