Hey y’all! So I’m super stoked to have my friend Talia Vance
here today for the Silver Blog tour! She graciously asked me to host the tour
and jumped at the chance to cast her characters for Silver! Check out my review
of Silver here!
And make sure to fill out the Rafflecopter form below for your chance to win
one of 3 signed finished copies of Silver and a charm bracelet just like the
one Brianna wears in the book!
"As I step into the room, a silver flash blurs my vision. Before I can take a breath, the world falls away." Brianna has always felt invisible. People stare right past her, including the one boy she can't resist, Blake Williams. But everything changes at a house party where Brianna's charm bracelet slips off and time stands still. In that one frozen, silver moment, Blake not only sees her, he recognizes something deep inside her she's been hiding even from herself. Discovering she is descended from Danu, the legendary Bandia of Celtic myth, Brianna finds herself questioning the truth of who she is. And when she accidentally binds her soul to Blake, their mutual attraction becomes undeniable. But Blake has his own secret, one that could prove deadly for them both. Bound together by forbidden magic, Brianna and Blake find themselves at the heart of an ancient feud that threatens to destroy their lives and their love.
DREAM CAST FOR SILVER
When Jaime asked me to pick a dream cast for Silver, I jumped at the chance. It is so fun to imagine actors in the roles of the characters. When I’m writing, I usually have a specific picture in my head of what the person looks like. But I don’t always have an actor in mind to slip into the role. All of the pictures shown here come from IMDB, and you can find out more about the actors by clicking the links below the photos.
Blake: Trevor Donovan
Hmm. I think it’s the
dimples.
Brianna: Lily Collins
I always pictured Brianna as looking like Robin Wright in the Princess Bride, but with dark hair. Since Ms. Wright is too old to play the part, I would have to go with Lily Collins.
Austin: Jeremy Irvine
He’s British, charming, and I think there is a hint of a bad
boy in there somewhere.
Joe: Joseph
Gordon-Levitt
Joseph Gordon-Levitt has that “cool” factor that I think would
work really well for Joe.
Haley: Haley King
It’s not just the name.
She is a pretty girl with the right look, and I also think she could be
a little bratty.
Jonah: Sam Clafin.
In this photo, he looks JUST liked I pictured Jonah.
The twins Micah/Jeremy: Dave Franco
Dave Franco has that easy going look, but also a hint of
danger to him. Perfect to play the
twins.
So if you’ve read Silver what do you think? Who would you
cast? And if not does this make you more excited to read the book?

great giveaway...thanks!
ReplyDeleteLove the twin pick!!!! Gorgeous (; Actually they all are....
ReplyDeleteCan't comment on the dream cast until I read the book (though I do like some of the people as actors), but I have to beg that if this were to become a movie they use real twins for the parts, I just have a hard time buying the characters when I know it's one person (except for The Parent Trap, I'll buy it every time!).
ReplyDeleteThanks for the giveaway! This book looks awesome! I can't wait to read it-I would read it for the cover alone :p
